Jack is a recurring character in The Demon's Light. He is usually seen plotting to take over the world, and since season 2, tailing Atticus and Jane Fiss, as he is interested to find out why love exists. He is viewed as some sort of "anti-hero." He didn't appear in the first episode, but debuted in the second and has appeared in most episodes since, playing either a minor or major role.

Jack is considered a neutral character as he does unethical and illegal things like black market activity but he has also done some things to show care for those he considers his friends. He usually plays by his own rules.

He starts off in the series lost in the woods but he soon arrives at Alchemilia Corporation and asks the main characters for directions to Asoka, the continent where his place is located.

Jack has both aided and fought the Demon as he often likes to reside in Hell for a few visits but opposes some of the Demon's beliefs.

At one point, Jack had an interest in The Demon's light and had stolen it one time, facing both the Demon and Team Demon Light. He tries to use it to take over the world but doesn't know how to use it so often ends up foiling his uses of it. Later, he redeems himself and hands it over to the team, causing issues with The Demon later on.

Jack's relationship with the Demon is incredibly complex as he sometimes serves and opposes him.

Atticus Anoethite

Atticus and Jack tend to get along despite Jack's links to the Demon.

Messenger Devlin

Same as Atticus.

Savannah Whitesmith

Despite neutrality and having conflicting ideologies with the Demon, Jack tends to have a more calm friendship with Savannah, as he sees her as a better ruler than Xeren.

Chase McFly

Same as Atticus.

Kókkino Thánato

Not much is known about how Jack gets along with Kókkino Thánato but Jack has openly considered her to be quite extreme even by demon standards. He also fears her deeply.

Meadow Salance

When Meadow is manipulated by Kaz to go against Team Demon Light, Jack considered her a traitor and does not factor in that she was tricked, leading to a tense rivalry between the two.

  • Karate

  • Samurai sword
  • Ninja stars

  • Despite seemingly evil actions, Jack is not an all-out bad guy as he does show to actually care for his friends and he claims his world domination attempts are really to make the world a better place for all.
  • Unlike most characters, Jack does not live in Thales but rather Asoka. He does visit Thales often however.
