Jack is a recurring character in The Demon's Light. He is usually seen watching anime, playing games and plotting to take over the world. He is viewed as some sort of "anti-hero." He didn't appear in the first episode, but debuted in the second and has appeared in most episodes since either playing a minor or major role.
Jack is considered a neutral character as he does unethical and illegal things like black market activity and hacking but he has also done some things to show care for those he considers his friends. He usually plays by his own rules.
Jack has both aided and fought The Demon as he often likes to reside in Hell for a few visits but opposes some of The Demon's beliefs.
At one point, Jack had an interest in The Demon's light and had stolen it one time, facing both The Demon and Team Demon Light. He tries to use it to take over the world but doesn't know how to use it so often ends up foiling his uses of it. Later, he redeems himself and hands it over to the team, causing issues with The Demon later on.
